No more printed hunting magazines for me. BGH does it all.

No more printed hunting magazines for me. I have decided to give up subscriptions to hunting magazines. Everything that I pay for in magazine subscription form is available here at BigGameHunt.net. I get information on all the hunting seasons and new products. I get great stories and excellent photographs. I even get classified ads and cartoons! And unlike magazines I get to interact and ask follow up questions. Yep. BGH has replaced printed magazines for me. Thumbs up

I've gotten away from printed material myself seeing as how I was spending too much money on magazines.

I still like to buy one every now and then to support people I know, although they write for a different audience, and to have something to read for those times when I can't have my laptop or an internet connection. BGH and other hunting/fishing magazines, as well as "American Handgunner" are available online and I find the online version more enjoyable.

Nearly all my reading is on

Nearly all my reading is on here now as well as like Mike said you can get it all right here. I have not bought a magazine in a long time now but one of the reasons is I can read whatever I want at work and we usuallyn have the full supply. But even then I don't even look that much anymore as so much of the information is sort of generic. Even when traveling I now take the laptop with me as there are very few hotels that don't provide free internet anymore.

Thanks bgh for keeping us from getting bored.

I gave up buying magazines a

I gave up buying magazines a long time ago.  I had a subscription to Sports Afield when they were sold and started to run articles on biking, and everything besides hunting and fishing.  I canceled my subscription and asked for my money back and got it.  Then they were resold and went back to the hunting and fishing but I never went back.  As far as the others I really never cared for their articles.  I got used to the articles by Elmer Kieth and Jack O'Connor and the older writers and personally don't care for the new breed.

I guess that i am starting to get old.  I even gave up on my gun magazines when they started to hype the assault type of weapon instead of a hunting arm or the ones for self protection.  Now I am starting to feel old.
