No Hunters.

This past season i was really surprised at the lack of deer hunters. The numbers have been in steady decline since all this gun registry bullshit up here plus the high cost of just getting out hunting. It's really too bad that most of the next generation is going to miss out on a proud heritage. The small rural town i live about 7 miles from doesn't even bother to open their resturant till after noon hour when 10 or so years ago the place was hopping at the 9 to 10 oclock breakfast rush. Hell most of the hunters used breakfast to plan the days drives and where everyone was going.Has anyone else seen this trend?

Oh, I hear ya!. Ten years ago all my buddies did eveything to get the first week off for hunting(saved overtime, vacation, lied to wife and said they were laid-off etc) but not now. Most don't hunt anymore with the execttion of maybe a few hours on saturday. Camps were always full. Every second vehicle had hunter orange showing through somewhere. Our only restaurant(pop of 3500) would open at 5:00 am. NovaScotia just issued new hunting safety card with a five year expiration, soit'll cost now to get them renewed for sure. MORE MONEY!!
And I don't want to comment on the GUN Registry as I have no filter between the brain & lips , which will result in me gettingkicked off this forum.

p.s. Why are there so many guns in Toronto? I was there for two week andnever seen one moose track!!!

yeah well i've noticed a drop of hunters as well i used to hunt around moose jaw sask and i have moved from there but before i left last year there was no one hunting and now i see more tags are aviable and no one want's them i shot eight deer that year. now i live in cold lake alberta and there's a few people that still hunt around here just getting permisson or finding land because now days every one want's that 2 acr of lands for a house so there's no place left to go. AND that bull$%^&**% gun thing. well it's nice to see that it's the hand guns killing everyone and not hunters in rural alberta. Just because one guy killed some women and yes it was sad and yes it shouldn't have happend but come on did he use those guns for hunting no!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
