Hello,

I drew a Muzzleloader tag for Valle Vidal area Oct 2-6.

I am not familiar with the area and I am looking for advice on hunting the unit.
I would be probably bringing my 21 year old son to help. Times are tough for me so I would like to hunt on my own and hire a packer if possible. Looking for some friendly advice for anyone familiar with the Unit. Maybe someone I could send some maps and have them mark up some areas to scout/ hunt. Packer, Outfitter, Guide recommendations if needed, drop camp?. Local experts to contact. Which maps to order. Someone to hunt/camp with etc. ???

I am just starting on this journey and would appreciate any info at all.
