I know this is and old post but I just got back from 16E
I just finished a muzzleloader hunt on the 18th of Oct in 16E. I shot a small 6x6 but pretty nice. I went unguided and it was the second time I drew out on that hunt the first time my buddy shot a 5X5. Its a heavy hunted area by outfitters and there are some monster bulls. We saw a large 7X7 and 6x6 opening morning but couldn't get close. The pelona mountains are in the middle of 16E and they are really rough so if your not in shape I recommend some conditioning prior to arriving or going guided on horse back.
