New Brunswick has a Spring Bear Hunt !!!, Nova Scotia does not.

You have picked a great place to go on a spring bear hunt! They have some of the largest bears in North America, particularly in the east.

Our outfitter in Newfoundland hunts bears over bait, since it is very unusual to see bears there in open spaces during the spring. They are definitely serious bear hunters and have a great area to hunt for trophy bears, having clients taking many BC bears including the 2nd largest Newfoundland bear and #20 all time BC bear ever. You can also get in some fishing for trout and land locked salmon there.

new brunswick also has a spring bear hunt which is very successful, almost more successful than fall, i am a bear hunter and a licensed guide for new brunswick and have had 95% sucess with my hunters

I appreciate the reply, I have been coming up to NB for several years. Hunting between Red Bank and Bathurst in Zones 7&8. The country is beautiful and the hunting is awesome. We just decided to try another Providence for a change of pace. BTW we are scheduled to be back in NB May 2007. The NFLD hunt is being planned for 2008, I made a mistake on the dates in my original post.
