Anyone care to comment on hunting moose in Newfoundland? Is it advisable to be there for the opener? Any tricks on using the ferry to get there? I am planning a fall hunt, probably in zone 15. I would appreciate hearing your comments.
I made two trips there, both in October (2003 & 2005).

Call Ron Hicks of Snowshoe Lake Hunting and Fishing 1-888-you-hunt.
