No. The one I saw was in a different spot and was a little bigger. The one I saw had a main frame 10 with several kicker pts, more mass, and a bit wider. I wish I had taken a pic, but that wasn't my main concern at the time
I have a list inside my head of the biggest deer I have seen while hunting over the years and the one I saw ranks about #4.
I did a quick calculation on this buck in the pic. What do you guys think he measures?
Great deer, best of luck. I was out last weekend and didn't see anything but little bucks and does. This weekend we're headed up to NW Missouri to rifle hunt. Hopefully, I'll have some good pictures for ya next week.
When it comes to scent, there are basically two types; those that attract and those that mask. I've tried both on many occasions. There are lots and lots of "doe in heat" scents, designed to attract a big buck into range. I've also used a "cow in heat" scent while elk hunting.
Another scent would almost be better named as a "coverup smell". The main goal is to cover up human odor or mask it. Though I don't believe you can ever totally eliminate all human...
