Was it originally 4X4 or was that one of the mods?

Now you just need to drive it on over to Florida so I can take it for a spin down the Strip !!! Yes

the panel truck originally

the panel truck originally had a strait 6 in it.  the 4x4 is one of the modifications, so i can take it hunting.  several people suggest it looks like a hears or a version of the grave digger monster truck.  the pictures were indeed taken in utah, the last one south of moab, the second one on hwy 6 east of spanish fork.

newest addition

That's a beautiful piece of work.  I particularly like the way the classic lines were preserved and the way everything's so clean and simple.  Too many of these projects wind up going over the top and become excessively gaudy.  This is classy.  Congrats!

I'm heading for San Antonio

I'm heading for San Antonio on Saturday to see the folks and there are a ton of neat old vehicles down there in that warmer climate.

I hear Cuba is a vintage car collector dreamland too.  With the embargo in place for the last 60 years, most all the owners of American cars down there have been pretty much spot on as far as taking really good care of them or at least keeping them running.
