I just wanted to introduce myself as I am new to the site. My name is Jay and I live in West TN, but have been hunting in Colorado since the late 80's. I absolutely love hunting fair chase big game in the high country, well it's high country to me because I live 500 ft above sea level! I am looking forward to being able to contribute to what looks like a great site. And am also looking forward to to maybe getting some tips and pointers for my future trips. I have had some very memorable hunts and will post some pics as soon as I can. My first post was of my largest muley to date in the mule deer forum. Ya'll check it out and let me know what you think.

Welcome to the site Jay!
Welcome to the site Jay! From the fact that you live in Tennessee, but hunt in Colorado, I would bet you have alot of well rounded information to share. From Whitetail and maybe hugs (yes, no?) back in Tenn, to Mulies and Elk in the west.
Lots of good information to be found on the site. Hopefully you will stick around, browse the forums, and add some of your photos and stories. We'd love to see them!

A hearty welcome to BGH
A hearty welcome to BGH Cowboy!!! You will certainly enjoy this web site more than any other you have probably visited in the past. There are plenty of great hunters on this site willing to share their information, opinions, stories, pictures, etc... - all will help you in your hunting success. The articles by the BGH people/writers definitely turn that learning curve into more of a straight line. So welcome and we all look forward to your hunting stories and the pictures of the animals you have harvested. From your pics there is definitely a couple good stories to be told of a bear hunt and a muley hunt. I commented on the other forum of your excellent buck. I am definitely envious!!!

Pull up a log, or a rock, and sit around the fire.
I have found this to be the best hunting website, by far, and as a newbie I have learned much as well as been able to share a few expiriences of my own. Enjoy your time here and have fun. I look forward to checking out your Mulie.
