Watching a woman talk about her huge whitetail that she shot. She has the mount next to her and it is like a shoulder mount, but the back is extended about a foot. Looks really cool. Have any of you seen this type mount - kind of like a pedastal, but a little different. Almost like a half mount, but with just the back extended.

Sounds like a wall pedistal mount to me. Did it look like this one ?
Here is a muley I took in 2008 that I mountd that way.

Wall Pedistal Mount
I do like how mine turned, but my taxidermist added alot of detail to the face and throat and we put the head up. If I did another one I would take the head off of a Mckenzie semi sneak, just because I like the look of that head better.
Here it is straight on.
And from the other side

I did not realize I was looking at your mounts when I first replied. You have some nice deer on the wall and i agree with you the sneak pose would be a real nice looking mount. Is that all the mounts you have or just all the mounts you have in that room? I only have one shoulder mount - pronghorn antelope and a european whitetail mount.

I am now speechless, but let me say thank you for sharing. When I asked the question I thought I knew the answer (there were more) but I was surprised at how many you have. You have lots and lots of great trophies. We need to hear some stories behind the mounts.
