Did you do any good? I have a tag for this year during the muzzle loader season. Would appreciate any feedback you might have.

What month is your hunt?

My hunt was November of last year. I didn't have any luck, but found skins, legs, and heads from previsous hunters. They were very fresh, and saw 7 cows the day before my hunt started; but didn't see any after that.

I talked to other hunters who were there, and they had experienced the same thing.

Try Forest Road 478 (off of road 52) to Red Canyon and go to Red John Box, there's good hunting in there. Also, take Forest Road 549 to Bear Trap Canyon. Take road 73 off of 549 up to Pigeon Canyon. Go past the private property, and it will take you up to White Water Canyon. This same road will take you to Indian Canyon. Good hunting on both sides of the road on the way up.

Thanks for the reply. We will be going for the muzzleloader season 9-13 Oct. Hoping they will still be bugling about that time. What do you think?

That should be a good hunt. Early hunts are the best, because the game hasn't been spooked by previous hunts.
