I've seen -15F during that hunt, I have also seen weather warm enough to have thunderstorms. My favorite was a few years ago. When we arrived there we set up camp in t-shirts. When we stayed one last night we woke up to snow deep enough to make finding the quads difficult.
I guess you need to be prepared for anything. Make sure you have chains. Sometime it snows there and the roads don't freeze. Then you have thick mud under snow. Nice for a leasurely drive!
First make sure your gun is safe, remove the bolt and clean your barrel from the chamber to the end of muzzle. Clean the barrel using butchers bore shine until a patch comes out white. Run a total of 5 separate patches soaked with denatured alcohol through the bore and let dry for 30 minutes. Insert a cleaning rod with a jag and a dry patch into the neck of the chamber.
