I will be sending in for a license for the 2010 new mexico youth season. I do not know what unit to send in for I have heard alot of good things about 15 and 16 but heard it is hard to get a tag. My dad and I are avid hunters and we are not afraid to work hard for our game. this is my first time elk hunting but my dad has gone to many different states elk hunting. I don't want to hunt with tons of other people. don't have horses, I will be walking. I will be going with a rifle or muzzeloader. let me know what you can come up with. My freinds son(11 years old) drew a unit 23 youth tag , he said it was a great hunt the bulls were screaming everywhere. A easy hunt near town only 7 miles form their motel, and the local were giving them all kinds of spots to go hunt once they got there. Here's his boys bull
