Cant wait!
I got both Deer and Elk in unit 34. Very excited, as this will be my first hunt! Any info on this unit would be great. Planning my first scouting trip next week.

NM Draw
i dont understand all my friends got drawn and when i went on my email i didnt get anything then i went to nm game and fish and it said hunts were pending?? it doesnt say if ive drawn or not
NM fish and game is currently sending out the emails on success. The "successful" emails usually go out first and it usually takes a couple hours or so to get them all out. The "unsuccessful" emails usually follow.
Tomorrow the website will be open to check on success, but you will have likely received an email by then. The website has not yet been updated with the drawing status.

Congratulations on the sheep tag!! IS this a public land hunt or have you found a private land outfit to go on? I'm interested to see how you do as the New Mexico hunt interests me as well. In the meantime I've rebooked with Mike McKinny for Texas in January.
