New Mexico Antelope

Very curious on how the system works down in New Mexico for Antelope. The draw and so forth. Do they let you hunt private with your tag etc? I can barely get through Wyoming's regs . Colorado's I have read for 32 years now , so I am a little better with that. Any explanation would be appreciated. Thanks, Bleu

NM Antelope

I was drawn for one of therse tags in 2008 and I could tell you more or less how it works. Don't know if anything will change for the 2014-2015 season. PM me for more info.

With Rifle you basically get

With Rifle you basically get assigned a "ranch"... it can consist of deeded and leased land... You hunt it for as long as you hunt is but after the first day if you don't see anything you can hunt ANY public land... No Points... Odds are steep but we have some nice goats... 16% of tags go to NR in some sort of fashion or another... AND we have the entire LO system which is expensive but it a choice..
