New memeber just saying hello

Hello everyone, I'm new here, though not new to hunting forums, just looking for a more active home in lieu of the dieing huntingnet I previously most recently called home under the names cma3366a (old site), and Magnumman308(new site). I was also a member of huntamerica, huntchat, and accuratereloading (cmb3366) back in their respective heydays.

I'm from Upstate New York near Binghamton, and hunt anything that roams the woods with gun, bow, and mz, fish for all that swims, and have a sizable gun collection with a passion for collecting, reloading, and target shooting. I'm not great at any particular aspect, but I enjoy myself, eat some great wild game, and get outdoors for some exercise.

I'm 22, and currently in college finishing up my bachelors in biology and adolescent education. When I get free time, I'm a substitute high school teacher.

Anyhow, I just wanted to briefly introduce myself, it looks like you've got a great community growing here, hopefully I can add something useful. Thanks, Chris B. Thumbs up

Why don't you post a picture of a red deer you've taken and the story that goes with it. Loved to hear about hunting in Scotland.

I have posted 2 of my hunting trips and only got like 2 replies. Not done much hunting here due to being busy at med school. I am going hunting soon though.

Welcome to BGH cmb3366.

Don't listen to the naysayers here we kind of like the pace here.
However I see that you are studying adolescent education so you will have no problem understanding both naysayers and the members of this site. Evil!

In all seriousness I also am a member of several other sites and this one is by far the most pleasant and informational site I belong to and have really enjoyed the other members and their words of wisdom and parody that they post here.
If you like to read alot of one line posts about what someone had for breakfast or what their dog chewed up while they were at work then this is not the site for you.

If you really want to start a posting frenzy then just mozy on over to the "Politics" forums and tell expatiate that he is wrong and doesnt know what he is talking about !! neener! Evil! neener!

Might be a little quieter, but from the looks of it, its got the number and quality of long-term posters I've been 'shopping' for. Thumbs up

I don't recall how long ago I got on here but the thing that really impressed me was it seemed like everyone knew each other. We've had our episodes with certain poster's and most are gone or rehabilitated! Take JTapia for instence. You go tell expatiate that and he'll pay you a visit at home. neener!

Trruthfully a great bunch of guy's, even the Canidians! I spelled that wrong didn't I? Canadians? I'm gonna catch it for that!

Geez, guys, I've been wrong lots of times. I can't help it if so few have been able to prove it. neener!

Welcome, CMB. I've been on here for 7 years, and stick around because it's the most friendly forum I've found of any type. Like Don said, a lot of us have got to now each other pretty well, so in my opinion it's like a good hunting camp.

As far as politics go, these guys will tell you I'm really a sensitive, earth-friendly kind of guy. You know...the type that drives a Volvo and wears a magenta raincoat out to pick blueberries. They're terrific for breakfast with some soy milk over a block of organic tofu.
