Alright somebody new from KS! Welcome to BGH Big smile That's a great looking buck, and I really like the looks of the area you are hunting. What river is that? I have 2 guns. A Rem. 270 and I recently bought a lever action 30-30. I love headin' into the woods with that 30-30 Thumbs up

That's a great looking buck. Nice high, symmetrical rack. That will be an awesome looking mount. Congrats!!

By the way, I hunt Mercer County, MO during the rifle season. I'm looking forward to this year after the antler restrictions have been in effect for 2 full years. Should be some big boys hangin' around. Thumbs up

Mercer County borders the Iowa state line, right in the middle of Missouri.

Just by seeing the pictures he looks to be about 140 class. His other big deductions look like the difference between the G2's and the difference of the G3's. None the less an awesome buck. Don't forget he won't make Pope and Young because he was shot with a rifle.

Maybe your taxidermist will do an unofficial measure for you. Just so you know for sure what you got Thumbs up

You can also find an official scorer if you go to:

http://www.boone-crockett.org/faq/index.asp?area=faq#faqDFB94F6F-4653-49...

This site gives you an email address and a phone number to find one in your area. Even if it doesn't make it, it would be fun to find out what it scores...plus it may help you estimate bucks in the field.
