I'd be real happy with that deer, especially with the regulations you have to deal with. Sometimes makes you wonder what these game departments are thinking
or maybe smokin' Think
That buck looks like he's got a bit of mass for it's size, was he an older deer?

Nice bucks to all
Shot this buck the opening day of archery season in WI on our uncles farm land.
First buck ever shot and first deer with bow. Second year of hunting
now got to try to do better. lol

the wound there is the exit wound

12 Points split brow tines - Pope and Young score = 126 7/8
185 lbs. field dressed

Great first deer!

A buddy of mine brought his son out to the ranch for his first deer hunt. They showed up right in the middle of the rut. I had never seen this deer before, which turned out to be a 6 year old. Impressive was the patience of this kid as we watched this buck chasing does for over an hour. It payed off for him big time on this 150 class 13 point.

Western Val Verde County

We're 10 miles north of the Rio Grande and stretch along the west side of the Pecos river. One of the few places in Texas we can hunt both whitetail and mule deer. Great deer, both species are about 20-25% lighter on the hoof though than deer coming out of Kansas.

my 05 buck

Im new to the boards but heres my buck from this year. It grossed 160 nets 150 its a 10 point 21" spread field dressed 230lbs taken in southern michigan.
