New Hampshire Moose in E3

I got lucky and drew a tag in E3. I live out of state but I drove through (actually, along the south and east sides of) the area in 2001. It sure looks moosy. I hope to make it up for a scouting trip in September. If anyone familiar with area has any tips they would be willing to share, I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

You lucky dawg! I live in Unit M so it's not my part of the state. Check with the Fish and Game Dept and the local conservation officer or game biologist to start. There is also a map that the state has that shows hot spots. Can't find it online anymore but I bet they can e-mail you a copy. Good Luck!! Thumbs up

Congrats on drawing your moose tag !

Anterless only or either sex tag ?

Also wondering how many years did it take you to draw your tag ?

Thanks and good luck !

We when up to C2 & A2 yesterday, lots of moose & deer sign in the muck holes & cuts. This is a great State to hunt in, make sure you stop at LL Code's in Errol.
If you scout in late Summer it's worth getting a fishing license, the streams are full of brookies and bows. I can't wait till Oct. 20th. Good luck

NH Hunter - Thanks for the suggestions. I will check on that map.

Mule Skinner - I drew an either sex permit. I started applying a couple of years before the bonus point system started.

spiddle - I'm counting the days to October 20, too. I think my scouting trip will be after the trout season closes - darn. Good luck on the moose!
