I'm new to the site, and new to hunting. I started last year, and it wasn't a very productive year. I plan on going to Mt. Hood area and Wildcat Mt. afterwork, or before depending on the shift, and on the weekends. I have a treestand I purchased at a real good price last year, and a blind. Bought a 7mm Savage for this year, had a 30.30 last year wanted something with a little better range, and just wanted a bigger gun. Does anyone have any tips for a newbie like me for Deer, Bear, and Cougar? I have tags for all so I can take whatever I see. I have an electronic call for predetor also. I'm looking for some decent area's or tips on what to look for in a good area. Any info would be great.
