Welcome to the BGH Vanguard!

Welcome to the BGH Vanguard! Looks like you already found Numbnutz. He is one of the most knowledgeable guys we've got on the northwest region. Good luck on your hunt and we wanna hear the story of your success when you're done.

Vanguard, hows your scouting

Vanguard, hows your scouting going? Give you an update, archery season was very slow. not sure why. We did get into a couple bulls but over all it was very very slow. hopefully you are having some better luck. like i said before if your hunting late things should be better for you as the elk wil be in bigger herds and at lower elevations. let me know how your doing and if i can help out anymore.

welcome vanguard - it's good

welcome vanguard - it's good to see yet another Oregon hunter on here

you're definitely in a good area for hunting

I've hunted up in the Ukiah unit for deer and elk,  and in the Imnaha, Minam, Catherine Creek, Keating and Pine Creek units for spring bear.

These are game rich areas - and when you get some scouting under your belt, you'll see what I mean.  Get out there, and enjoy!
