I like Howas more than Savages, they aren't nearly as ugly and shoot very well for the dollar. Still, you get what you pay for.

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong but, I believe the Weatherby Vanguard is a Howa.

+2 Thumbs up Howa has been making them for quite a while now and make an excellent firearm.

I liked the accu-trigger on the savages better but they really do have to work on their ugly cheap stocks. Brick Wall,) Most are extremely accurate "out of the box" though.
