New to Big Game Hunt

Welcome to the forums.  From what I remember of Ajo from back in the 60's there isn't too much to hunt down there except for lizards.

Thanks for the welcome critter. There are a lot of javelina that run through town and get in the garbage but that’s about it. This is my wintering home down here in Ajo.

Thank you. I hunt elk and deer for big game and yotes for fun. However this year does not look like I will get any hunting in. A little more than three weeks ago I had triple heart bypass but the recovery is going good so far.

I go down and chase quail

I go down and chase quail and javelina every year north of Tuson but and never thought about around Ajo.

Oh I don't know if the hunting would be any better around Ajo vs. north of Tucson. We usually see them at night when we do see them or find their tracks in the flower beds or out in the alley. They love the flowers though till they eat them all up
