I hunt in CA's B-6 zone, and this law is already in effect. No vehicles are allowed off established roads, period.

Nothing is more frustrating than sitting on a stand for hours, then having an ATV drive up on your stand. It still happens sometimes, even with the law. I have seen a few hunters get caught driving off the roads by DFG, and one even had his ATV seized.

There have been many mornings spent glassing bucks. waiting for them to bed down when half a mile away an A.T.V. goes blasting by
and i get to see the deer vanish over the

ridge.

If you are only 1/2 a mile or 800yds from a road and you are glassing bucks, then that must be one good area!!!! Try moving 1 to 2 miles away from the road, and you wont see any ATV's and think of the deer you"ll see.
