Did an archery elk hunt in 2008 in 10 and have taken my sons on several cow elk hunts in the early rifle seasons over the years and have run across some nice mulies along the way. I glassed nice bucks in the Round Top Mountain area as well as Stuntz Ridge to the west of the unit (you actually cross into Utah to get access back into CO). Another area where I've bumped into some nice bucks is the Hell's Canyon area, but be prepared for some serious hiking. Jack's Springs area also had some good ones that I ran into when doing some late summer scouting for elk. 10 holds some very good bucks so be patient and good luck. The USGS maps for that area will have these areas marked and access is pretty well laid out. No vehicles on public land so wear your good boots and get ready to wear off some of the sole.
Are you talking about Colorado unit 10 or Nevada area 10 here ????
