Need your help Critiquing the intro footage of our video

Doodaa (my video partner and editor) just put up a short clip on our private Team forum on another site for the Team to look at.

It is the ROUGH draft of the opening intro to our big game video coming out this fall.

I would like you guys (and gals) to take a look, makes some comments, and give us your HONEST opinionl.

We are everyday average hunters like yourself, so that is who we want to critique it....not some big time Pro's............

There will be Team Member names on the clip later on and it will encompass all of us.

We have a couple of ladies on Pro Staff and one has two eight point kills on the video.........the other.........she drops some pigs!

Thanks for your help and input........

One of my Team members in Illinois has some kills as does his 11 year old son.

I'm afraid I'm not a good critic. I love watchin' any video dealing with hunting. Looks great to me Thumbs up I've been working on a home video myself. Kind of limited with what I can do on the computer. Having trouble with getting my audio right, and need to work on my filming

You guys are into some pretty good game for average hunters. I like it so far and would love to see the rest of the film!
We had a guy shoot a video of the last hunt we did in Tn. It came out great. Tnhoundsman sells it from his website.

looks pretty good to me the only thing that is even a little questionable is the leaves frame, makes it harder to see the faces when the intrductions are done, but this may change on a full screnn picture. looks good.

Looks really good...especially for an amateur production.

My only suggestion would be to maybe make the hole-cut jump around a little bit like the logo in the bottom left corner.

I especially like the three fingers the guy held up....I'm guessing that was in reference to the 3 misses on the buck that walks out by the power lines. He handled a lot better than I would have.

Thanks for the input!

I am of the opinon the "video hole in the leaves needs to be bigger.

the logo actually looks great on film, download resolution on a hosting site is not what it appears to be.

My partner and editor actually works for KSLA TV in Shreveport LA and is the producer for the evening news..............our hunt sequences may be amateur compared ot the BIG BOYS......but Doodaa is not an amateur at editing and producing!

Once this opening segment blasts through as an introduction giving people a little glimpse of the hunts and letting them know our names etc.

we settle in to the hunting sequences without the "leave frame"!

And yeah...........he takes the Three Strike Buck scenario far better than I would!

But everyone getts to see the WHOLE story!

Thanks for your help!

I think the hole is way to small and the hole itself should depict some sort of logo or outdoor image. I wouldnt waste 60-70 % of the screen on non moving basically non related material. You got great footage to work with show it off and make the effect sidelines improve the quality of what your starting with not cover it up.
