Need some help in WA, where to take my son?

I am currently in Iraq but I am coming back home soon.  Right now home is in WA near Fort Lewis.  This year I will finally have the opportunity to take my 10 year old son on his first big game hunt.  Because I’m not home I can't do any scouting and we are new to WA so I have no idea where to take him to find a Blacktail.  Can anyone help and point me in the right direction so we can make my son's fist hunt as successful as it can be.  Thanks in advance

AH, is there any hunting on

AH, is there any hunting on Ft Lewis? I've never been there or know how big the Ft is but I know Ft Bragg(NC) has some good hunting on it. All of the Ft's I've been on have pretty good hunting, just have to know where to go. Good luck and hope you find a place to take your son.

check with the post on base for the gov land around there or the state ground also try the local ag office
