Be careful when asking innocent questions like this,the F&G departments in some states go to great lengths to entrap people who have no idea they are breaking the law with elaborate operations like posing as a unlicensed guide looking to "help" hunters,your best bet would be to have your sister introduce you to some of her new friends who hunt,Im sure it wouldnt take long to find someone who would be willing to show you around,there is tons of public land up there and tons of deer bolth WT and MD.

Texas8point- No worries on deer hunting in ND. I spent my first 23 years in North Dakota and hunt it regularily. Go to ND game and Fish website and ask for the plots land guide book. This is public land open to all walk in hunters. There are thousands of acres each year put into the plots program. Look toward the east of Bismark about 60 miles where there is less posted land and less commercial hunting programs.
