need some advice

ok so i know that this sounds kinda weird. but i was hoping for some advice on spots to try archery elk near forks for next year. i am a WA native, but thanks to the USAF i now live in NJ. i have never bow hunted back in WA and i am planning a 5 day trip next year for elk/deer/bear. i chose forks b/c my family has a small piece of "vacation" property on the HOH river just outside of forks off oil city rd. that they use as a "base camp". all of my family only rifle/muzzleloader hunts back there and i finally talked my dad into trying them with a bow, now i just need a starting point. any help would be greatly appreciated Big smile

Can't help with your question but welcome to BGH.

You must be stationed at McGuire AFB. On;ly one I know of in NJ, Gateway to Europe! I did 8 yrs in the AF.

Military

Welcome to BGH. I'm glad you too are in the military. I am stationed here in Naval Air Station Whidbey Island. Been here since 1999. Love it here and the outdoors thats why i never left this state. I'm from Houston Texas thou. I've been in for 13 yrs now and still love to serve our country. No regrets. But can't help you with Forks side. I hunt here on the Island or Winthrop. AND TO ALL THE MILITARY AND VETERANS, THANK YOU FOR SERVING OUR COUNTRY AND MAKING IT SAFE FOR EVERYONE
Thru this site is where i learned and ask advice on where to hunt. Thanks BGH
