Need information for Archery Cow Elk Hunt in Colorado

I am looking for info for archery hunting for a cow elk in CO. Regarding the license, can you just buy it over the counter? What is the difference on the limited or unlimited archery. This will be a DIY hunt, not looking for a guide.

Yes, you can purchase a over-the-counter (unlimited) archery license that would cover most areas. The limited tags are draw only and you must apply for those in April.
