NE Mule Deer

Hello, first time to the site but i love it already. Anyways, my buddies and me are going on a mule deer hunt in Mid-December for the Muzzleloader season. We are leaning towards the Sandhill unit because of the population, success rates, and tag limits, but if anyone has any better ideas of where to go please let me know. Also any tips and places in Sandhill Unit that you wouldn't mind lending out. Thanks guys. What a great site

I wouldn't hunt the sandhills, although the trophy quality is quite high. I'd hunt the pine ridge area. Especially Gilbert-Baker WMA. Two food plots with rye were just planted on it for the first time in 5 years. Should suck some deer off the private lands to the north and back onto the base of the Pine Ridge. Very few people will know that it has been planted, so it should be a good area. Also the Chadron Creek WMA has a ton of whitetails on it, and some pretty decent mulies.
