I got this Saturday morning. He came through about 25 minutes before 1st light. I was thinking to myself, this is how I keep missing him. I heard him rubbing on a tree, then walk on. I havn't hunted in about 7 years. What a good way to start out.

It sure is. Next year I will try and get back to bow hunting. You know, with the head start on the other hunters. Happy hunting.

Nice buck.

I hunt a good deal in Anson County an some in SC.

I agree that bow hunting rocks. Too bad I didn't decide to get my bow repaired and start the hunt early.

Thanks everyone. I believe being a part of a forum like this will keep my interest. I belong to several reptile groups, as I am an amateur reptile breeder, and I often check them, and post different things. Hope you all enjoy a great season. I am gonna try and squeeze a morning hunt in before eating some bird with the inlaws.
