I went to go check on my trail cam to see how many pics I had. I got there and found it faceing down in the grass when I straped it down really good to the tree. I checked the pics and a huge black bear was on it. The monster black bear had came up to my camera and swated it of the tree. It ended up taking like 600 hundred extra pictures of the grass. And this was on the first day we put the cam up. Unfortunately I didnt get any pics of deer or elk because it was in the grass all week. But am pretty happy to have pics of a big black bear on my camera. That alone was worth hiking in and getting the pics. I am extremely happy because now I am going to see if I can get an over the counter archery tag and try to wak this bear with my bow. I think it would be a big acomplishment to get it and would be a memory of a lifetime. Tell me what you guys think of this bear!!! He sure looks pretty big to me.

It looked like a pretty nice bear to me but I have never hunted bear and have only seen bears a few times in the wild. Hoggetter do you think it would be worth getting a tag? Are bears really hard to hunt? I would be hunting over the water in the pic. Thanks hoggetter for the help you seem to know allot about bear hunting.
