thanks, i shot him on the fifth day of a six day hunt. it was my first bear.he came in standing up,sniffing. he knew something wasent right. i hit him right between the shoulder blades and he dropped like a ton of bricks right on the bait pile. definitley an awsome feeling!
good luck to ya! i hunted with north country lodge in patten maine. they had 27 hunters that week and ten got bear including a guy from virginia who shot a 500+ pounder. ill try to post some pics later.
