to shootin' Are you still developing a load? I finally found what my 22-250 loves. Took me 4 different bullets and grains of bullets and 2 powders and playing with seating the bullet. Excellent shooting rifle finally.
Got some ammo loaded for it but work and other things get in the road. Was at work in camp in northern alberta from dec 15 to mar 27 with only about 12 days off in between. Now got time off but snow is still very deep here and would'nt be much fun.

For sure I will let you know: Right now we still have lots of snow and very few backroads are open unless they are a main road or a school bus route. The coyotes are hauling deer down and I cant even get around to smoke a few yotes with my 338. I'm afraid our local deer numbers are really gonna be in bad shape.
I should mention that this rifle has a Vortex 6.5X20X50 scope on it, so maybe once i use it i can let people know what my opinion is on the Vortex, up until now i have been Leupold
Here is an inexpenive and effective deer feeder I made recently.
No batteries to go dead, no hoisting it up in the tree, plenty of capacity, very easy to fill - so far, I love it.
I have made two of these and they are easy to build.
An empty 55 gallon drum, some 2x4's, some PVC tubing and fittings, a little bit of hardware and some paint - and you are ready to go.
I designed it so you can stand on the lower rung and fill it - the top is about 6.5 feet above the ground.
