And here is a picture of

And here is a picture of the 4X4 I called in for my hunting partner today!  It was a perfect hunt today as well.  I called in this bull and brought it to within 35 yards and my hunting partner (who never hunted until this year) brought down this respectible bull with one shot.  After taking pictures and while field dressing this one 5 other satellite bulls came within the same 35 yards - all 4X4's and 5X5's.  I focused on getting the bull for my partner so no cow for me... but there is always tomorrow!  We also saw a herd of 30 elk with one dominate 6X6 but they were on private property... so there is always tomorrow!

Great looking bull, and to

Great looking bull, and to get it on the first year of hunting, is a bonus!!!  Congrats to your partner, and to you for calling him in.  I would love to even see one that size when I go next year.  Heck, as long as it's legal, I am all over it!!!

Nice work!

congrats on the bulls. Also,

congrats on the bulls.

Also, your very lucky to have them on the flat, open ground.  Mine died against a stump.

Just too cool

You're having a pretty good 1st rifle season!  The horns might not be huge, but I would be proud to put my tag on either.  And getting to call the second on for your partner...that's just too cool.

Congrats on the bulls and go whack a cow to finish the season.

Congratulations on your first

Congratulations on your first bull, that is fantastic. Also that is very cool you helped get your partner his bull. I saw all the photos in the picture gallery but did not realize it was your first. Hope to hear the whole story when you get the time. I am sure it will be a great story. Good job and the memory of our first bull will never fade away.

Can't argue with the meat off

Can't argue with the meat off a 2.5 year old bull... that'll be great stuff! Congrats on your first bull and here's to many more in your future!
