Interesting that she won a write in campaign.  Those in Alaska, what is the buzz up there about this?

Now how do you spell her

Now how do you spell her name?

My guess on how she got elected is that she already had the office and a lot of democrats voted for her to keep the tea party member out of it.

It seems clear that she won,

It seems clear that she won, but her opponent hasn't given up yet.  It is over and he just needs to realize he lost and move on.

Is Sarah still popular in Alaska?  She is talking about running for President on the news channels today.

I think that in Alaska they

I think that in Alaska they have the same problem that all the rest of the states have out west.  As long as they carry the big city they can rule the whole state.  I have the same problem here in Colorado.  The western slope where I live looses out every time to the front range voters (Denver, Boulder, Colorado Springs) and their wishes.  We just don't have the votes to get the right person elected.

I think this election was won in the villages I'm sure daddy Frank and Lisa called in all their markers. Lisa lost to Miller in the primary by a pretty big margin. Now all the villages who didn't vote in the primary turn out for the general election. Makes you wonder why.

Interesting observation.  You

Interesting observation.  You don't get this insight into the election on the nightly news.  Thanks for commenting and filling us in.

I personally can't stand

I personally can't stand her.  Her or Charlie Crist, or however you spell his name.  They both got their butts kicked in the primarys, and they felt like they needed to run as write-ins or independents.  She announced he write in candadicy, then started an all out blitz against the Tea Party candidate.  Fact is, they are sore losers, and nothing more.  I wish she'd have lost.

The whole general election

The whole general election was pathetic. Her opponent Joe Miller not only had to fight the liberal rag news paper he also had to go against all but one of our "conservative voices of the air" and the republican party. Liberal Lisa carried the native corp. and most of the unions. I think she even carried the NEA, that should say something about her political leanings.
