Mountain Lions

I was talking to a guy that worked in Boulder for a few years and he said that was the place to hunt Mountain Lions. He said just about every house he was hooking up cable to the owners said they had big problems with cats. Would it be a good place to hunt for cats or is it a fish story.

Yeah there are lions

But, I guaranfreakintee that if you hunt them with dogs you will end up trespassing throughout most of your hunt.  Lotta shady and unlicensed outfitters who run them in the foothills around here.  Hunt the west slope instead

The tag is good for any open

The tag is good for any open unit untill that units quota is reached. Are you planning on running dogs? We have cut tracks up above Boulder but like Ex said its just not really a good spot to turn out dogs. I know a guy that lives on the west side of Boulder and has a ditch that runs through his place he got several pictures on a trail cam right in his yard last year. the book "The beast in the garden" talks about Boulder's cat problems.

I read that book this summer and it was awesome. Definitely a must read for those that live on the front range.
