This story is just more of the same I said, you said, they said, he said, she said business that pretty well dominates our political discourse (or lack thereof) these days. The question that came to my mind after reading this was, What's the problem with the CIA sneaking around offing Al Queda members? Sounds like a good idea to me and would actually give the DNP some more cred (at least with me, personally) if they did, in fact, give the approval to explore an opperation like this in the months following 9-11. True or not, they're taking the percieved political high road and denying they were told about this.

Seems like there's a pattern...whenever negative press about Obama starts to surface, they suddenly resurrect Bush.

It's like somebody said, "Obama's numbers are tanking! Quick! Invoke the boogeyman!"
