I've finally been able to pull together the resources for a trip to AK next month and a weekend moose hunt. I'm really looking forward to both the hunt and the opportunity to visit what I'm sure is a beautiful state.

I could use recommendations for a motel/hotel, and for a taxidermist. I'll be hunting with someone stationed at Fort Wainwright, so something on the east side of town is preferable (but not essential) for the lodging. 

And, if anyone can recommend a good, honest taxidermist, I'd appreciate that a lot.
