Funny I just got off the site and was going to post but you beat me. Could only due pref points this year so knew the out come. Now hope they get the checks in the mail quickly so I can use my money for other things.
I only put in for a point for bear this year since I'll have a ML elk tag that I don't want to screw around with and am still debating on whether or not I will purchase a OTC bear tag to go along with that elk tag.
Moose, I gave up on them here in Colorado and the lower 48. I have come to the conclusion that if I want to hunt them I will head north either to Canada or Alaska and purchase a tag over the counter.
I'm still not sure if I got my bear tag yet. I don't show any point increase, but I was talking to my friend who's a Hunt Planner today to check. He told me since I used a paper app it's not entered yet.
If you want to properly preserve velvet antlers, you will have to inject & brush them with formaldehyde or some of the new less toxic chemicals (4 in 1 solution works great as does Knobloch's antler in velvet tan) as its easier to use however, both will work.
