Montenegrin Mountain Hound

Hi All,

I think what I have is a breed reject; not standard.  He was rescued from a high-kill shelter the day he was supposed to be gassed (euthanized) at the age of 4 months.

He so resembles the Montenegrin Mountain Hound that I've been able to find on the internet.  He's larger than the breed standard and his tail is constantly "curled" (like a piggy).  I think this is why he does not conform to the breed standard; hence the gas chamber....

He is a wondeful dog though and I'm so glad he was saved!

Tell me what you think?
