That was a busy day... and a hot one. Looking forward to some pictures. And we really do need some rain - a good drencher. I still have plenty to do in preparation but once closer to done I'll share some pics too.

Back and Forth!
Well actually both. My wife is a nurse practioner and got a great job with the Cleveland Clinic so we moved back to Ohio. But I kept my place in Colorado and am keeping residency there so I can still hunt there at resident prices. So my plan is to spend 6 months+ in Colorado but plan it nicely so I live in Ohio and can hunt on Dad's property through a good part of the deer seasons. I am hunting elk in Colorado during the 2nd rifle season (Oct 20-28) and then all other time will be getting my allotment of zone C deer. Hopefully I will need a 2nd freezer.

Wow!!!!! The best of both worlds. Sounds like we need to become hunting buddies and you get me out to Colorado so I can put a big old Bull Elk down with my bow!!!!!

Sounds great! Over-the-counter bull tags are on sale right now and I definitely have room where I'm hunting this year so you are welcome to come. And you can use the crossbow during rifle season (Colorado only allows crossbow during any rifle season). Or we could plan something for next year. Either way adding a hunting buddy is definitely a great thing!

I just saw the other post you
I just saw the other post you have with the new bow - VERY NICE! I'm looking forward to the pics of your first harvest with it. I have an old bear whitetail compound but need to replace it sometime. Once I bought the crossbow I was hooked on it. Maybe after this year.

The work is slowly getting
The work is slowly getting done. I have one more stand to move, the old rickety stand to take down and repair, one more mineral site to put in, and I am making my first attempt at a food plot this year as well which I haven't started yet. Also tow of the stands I moved I am going out to camoflouge them a little better. I will be checking my camera's next Monday for the first time. Hopefully I will have some nice pictures for you guys to see!!!!!
