Monster Alberta Buck Hoax?!?

I received this email from a friend:

"Subject: Monster Alberta Buck!

Info below is all the info that I have. Sent to me by a friend

He shot this near Two Hills this fall (winter). Biggest typical whitetail take in Alberta EVER! He will be on the cover of Buck magazine very soon. Don't know the score but it would be unbelievable. He has been offered $200,000.00 for it already.

I'm almost positive it is a hoax (thought I saw these pixs before) but I just can't remember for sure.

The pixs just don't quite look right to me... Look at his hand holding the rack. (It looks like it was "photo-shopped" in to the image and simply showing a clinched fist holding 'nothing'.). Also, the back ground changes (minor issue) as well".

Anyone ever seen this before?!?

He never does get his fingers all the way around a beam, does he?
Kind of suspicious.
If it's photoshopped, then it's well done.

Dont know about you all, But I've held several large racked deer by the antlers up for pics and I have YET to be able to do it with just my knuckles balancing the head in the manner that he has it. Its damn near impossible. The head of a deer that size would not only be to heavy to accomplish this, but if it was a fresh kill then it wouldnt be "balanced" like that. Dead weight wouldnt balance like that. Look at the first image. No way possible that he could be holding that deer up in that manner. The weight would make it fall away from him unless he had his hand wrapped around the antler holding it towards him. Its definatly a good photoshop job. But it was an idiot that had no idea about simple physics that did it. FAKE!!! No doubt about it. Wonder why people feel the need to create such things when they KNOW it will be busted one way or another!!!

Kahuna, If you dont mind email me the first image on there. Im having an error problem trying to capture it from the page. I have photoshop 7 and Id like to see if I can de-pixelate it to the original image. I doubt I can since its been overlayed and captured. But I may be able to. Would like to give it a go. email address is cam69conv2002@sbcglobal.net

Thankya

I just showed it to one of our graphic artists here at work and she said it definitely could be photoshopped. She said it was very well done if it is...

Another thing, and this could be just the angle of the picture, but the deer has its eyes open in one shot, but not the others...

Think

I was selling something on Craigslist a while back and had a guy send me an email with an attachment that contained a program that would allow him to take over my computer. I happened to be at the library when I opened his email/attachment and discovered this. I then did a Google search for Gay mens forums and signed him in as a member for everything that would accept him as a member (without the requirement of a confirming email) and proceeded to FLAME the fags on the forums... I'm sure his email address was LIGHT-UP after that! Evil!

I really agree with this. There is no way that guy could be holding up a deer head/antlers that big with no grip......

And I have done searches in google for this, and come up empty. You'd think if it were true, i'd find articles about it.....

This thread started from a phantom email a friend forwarded to me, no way at this point to know who to ask.
