Mmmmmmmmmm, i'm looking at the Weatherby Orion upland!

Well, as bird hunting keeps getting interesting, i'm starting to fall in love with this O/U. It's a decent price for the money.

Anyone shoot O/U's?

I want to add this to my wishlist.

I have a Weatherby Orion that is about 20 years old. I used to hunt and shoot trap and skeet with it. I have burned close to 50 lbs of powder in it and have never had it give me one bit of trouble. The only problem I found was that nobody carries parts for Weatherby except Weatherby.

Thanks for the info. Are the Weatherby parts expensive? It looks like a great shotgun!

The parts issue is not so much a matter of cost as a matter of inconvenience. Don't get me wrong, I like my Weatherby. The only humbug was that I had the heads of the screws in the forearm break and to replace them I had to go to Weatherby.

I originally purchased the Weatherby because it fit me the best. The gun shop I bought it from had Browning, Beretta, Ruger and Weatherby. The Weatherby fit the best of all the guns.

Oh that is quite an inconvenience. But i suppose there will always be something negative with all companies.
