Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. If he knows what he's doing in the woods, he may be found alive. I didn't hear anyhting about it around here but I don't listen to the news much. Where was he hunting?

I just saw the story last night on the news. From what they reported, he had parted from his son and grandson, and was enroute to his truck. This is when the snow storm was starting. It was in Bear Brook State Park on the Allenstown side. They said he was either 70 or in his 70's. Probably a medical condition. Very sad indeed. I hope someone finds him so that the family can have closer.

Yup a medical condition like a heart attack probably.
Thanks for the links I was looking for them to post, but couldnt find the ones I read yesterday.
Every couple years or so someone just disapears around Mt Washington or someware in NH.
Sometimes they find them sometimes they don't.
Ware I was there were 50 MPH winds and it was cold
Sad story for sure makes me grateful for loved ones in my life.

I beleive this hunter was found by a Snowmobiler. Great news indeed.

According to the Manchester NH news at WMUR, he is still missing and the search has been called off. The story was updated at 1:16 PM, a half an hour ago. Do you have a link to the information you are referring to?

My bad. The hunter I was referring to was in Maine. I heard he was out a few days in very cold weather. I hope this turns out as well.

My bad on the update....it's two hours old. They've quit looking. Very sad.
