Mild Idaho Winter Helps Mule Deer Fawn Survival

I am glad to hear that. Then maybe there will be alot more deer for others to chase than where i go. Only thing is if we have a bad winter next year and to many deer and not enough food. So this is a bummer. Hope all works out for them.

That is interesting about the Idaho Mulies. Colorado's mulie population hasn't done so well over the last decade, from what I have heard.

Colorado also has been doing fawn survival rate studies, but I have not heard much about what the outcome is or was.

Even though I would like to see more snow this year still, it unfortunately puts survival rates lower.
