Thats good to know, i did
Thats good to know, i did know that there was blacktail just wasnt sure if there was any other types of deer up there. how many elk do you guys have, i know some got transplanted up there, how is the herd population and overall health and what kind of seasons do you get? I would love to make a trip for grizzly and moose but its so darn spendy, hunting out of state has become a rich mans sport which is very unfortunate. i wish it was more affordable to the average joe.

I am hard pressed to think of
I am hard pressed to think of a hunter that would not want to hunt Alaska. You would have to be crazy not to. Like others have said though, it is crazy expensive. I plan on making it a priority to save for hunts including hunts in Alaska. I guess I just would rather save money for the things that make me happy in life and there is nothing that makes me happier and makes me feel more alive than big game hunting. So the piggy bank is already in use. I have got a long time before I can afford a trip up there but the march has begun.

Alaska is definitely on my
Alaska is definitely on my list of places to hunt. It ranks above Africa and I would like to hunt there one day too. So many places to hunt....got to hit the lottery soon
The appeal of Alaska is the pure beauty and the challenges the terrain and weather offer. My ideal hunt in Alaska would be for dall sheep. Expensive, so I have to hit that darn lottery.
