Yep, but even if the increases go through it won't take effect until the 2014 seasons. G&F is already getting an ear full on their website that they put up for comments and the chit will hit the fan if they raise the deer license to $520 from the present $312. They will lose so many people like Idaho did two years ago that even with the price increases they probably won't sell enough NR licenses to make up for the increase in most people's opinion. Thank God I'm at the stage in life where I've been retired for ten years and have the disposable income to pay whatever it takes to keep going out there, but many aren't that lucky. I figure at age 65, even though I'm in excellent health, I don't have that many years left to go out there and do the physical hunts that I do, so I'll do it while I can regardless of the license prices and then fall back on hunting more up north at my cabin near Kalkaska when I can't go out there any longer.
