Well looks like expat was right, and alot sooner than he thought. I have seen a gun related death story in the main stream for the past three days. All involving children (toddler) deaths. They are already paving the road. Think

Yes, I was surprised to see it happen so fast, too -- looks like they may intend to move sooner than I thought.

I can't help but notice what they're covering, too. I expected they'd be pushing up gang bangers, workplace shootings, etc. But what we're seeing is a kid that accidentally shot himself because Dad let him try a gun at a range, a kid that killed his Dad after being taught how to shoot, a toddler killed by a hunter's stray bullet, and a Dad that killed his 6 year old as he drank vodka and cleaned his guns.

In other words, the angle they're pushing is innocent kids dying because guns are in the hands of ignorant rednecks. That's not laying the groundwork for an assault weapons ban -- that's laying the groundwork for child safety features, restriction on child access, storage requirements, and making social outcasts out of people who involve their kids in shooting sports. They'll sell the agenda as "common sense" actions we need to take "for the children." So, of course, if you oppose the agenda you're anti-kid.

The media is becoming so comfortable in its role as the Democrats' propaganda wing that it's becoming quite predictable.

Vast plot. Best put on a tinfoil hat. Toddlers are probably sacrificed by liberals. I'm getting scared. 666

That's all you have to come back with? So you have some sort of a point, of is sarcasm and personal attack all you have to offer?

civet, they already took all the tin-foil away. The aluminum foil doesn't work the same. But there is still time to collect brass. Joker

Anytime the left can't answer you reasonably or intelligently they mock your arguments. This is what happens when someones ideas are threatened. I take it as a sign we're finaly getting through to him and he hates it! neener!

Wow -- the past few days have been busy. Kids grazed by a hunter's bullet at a day care center, a school shooting, and shots fired in a Seattle mall. It seems like all of a sudden gun violence is popping up all over the place, doesn't it?

I'm hoping that when they realize they are not getting a big hype out of the center attention, they'll find something else to bombard for a while. Maybe turkey farms???

I think they're covering the lower-level stories waiting for one to get traction...
